What this page covers, and what it does not.

This page is about the website. It explains what the site collects when you use it and what happens to that information.

It is not the contract for moving your goods. What we owe you once a consignment is booked is set out on the consignment note and in whatever you have agreed with your branch.

Only what you type, and the usual server record.

We ask for very little, and we only ask when you choose to send us something.

When you send an enquiry

• Your name and mobile number.
• Your email address, and your company name if you give one.
• The pickup and delivery city or pincode.
• The service you need, the approximate weight, a preferred date, and anything you write in the notes box.
• For an international quote, the destination country. For a move, the from and to cities and the move date.

When you track a consignment

• The LR or docket number you type. Nothing else.
• The lookup goes to our own system through our own server, so the number never travels anywhere else.

Automatically

• Our hosting keeps a normal web server log: the address your request came from, the time, the page and the browser. Every website has this, and it is what lets a host spot abuse and faults.

No cookies, no tracking, no advertising.

This site is deliberately plain about data, and you can check every point below by looking at the page source.

• We set no cookies at all.
• We store nothing in your browser.
• There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media tracker and no session recording.
• There are no accounts and no passwords on this site.
• You cannot pay on this site, so we never see a card or a bank detail here.
• We do not sell, rent or trade anything you send us. Not to anyone, at any price.

The short list of who sees what.

When you send an enquiry it reaches our team and the branch that would handle your lane. Nobody else needs it, so nobody else gets it.

• Our own system. A tracking lookup is passed to the UCL Express system at uclexp.co.in by our server. The key that opens that system is held on our server and never reaches your browser.
• Our hosting provider. The site sits on their servers, so their systems handle the traffic and keep the server log.
• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site are served by Google. Your browser fetches them directly, so Google receives your network address as part of that request. That is the one third party the page itself contacts.
• WhatsApp or your phone. Only if you tap those buttons yourself. Until you do, nothing is sent.

Kept while it is useful, then not.

An enquiry is kept while we are answering it and while you remain in touch with us about that shipment, and after that for as long as tax and company law require us to hold business records.

A tracking result is held on our server for two minutes so that pressing track twice does not trouble the system twice. After two minutes it is gone.

Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for their own short retention period and are not used for anything else.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

If you are in India, that Act gives you rights over information about you that we hold. You can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you and who we shared it with.
• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
• Delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it.
• Withdraw a consent you gave us, which stops any further use from that point.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, the Act allows you to take the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.

This site is for business use.

This is a freight and logistics website meant for businesses and adults arranging a shipment. We do not knowingly collect anything from a child. If you believe a child has sent us something, tell us and we will remove it.

When this page changes, the date changes.
